Poem from Iran

While I went through my day complaining of a cold, people in Iran are literally fighting and dying for their freedom. I can't believe that anyone from either political spectrum wouldn't be moved by this. Even though they know that snipers are randomly killing protestors, and police are using chemicals and tear gas - they still march. God bless the people of Iran.

I've been thinking the same thing. It's a great reminder of the wonderful county in which we live. Evening if we disagree with political or social outcomes, we are allowed to protest, we know that things were won on the up and up, and we know that we won't be killed for our views. The people of Iran are truly courageous. I hope that, if in their position, I would be brave enough to do the same.

I am humbled. My problems seem like blessings in comparison.
